FDT 3.0 Introduction Webinar (Japanese)
December 1, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
FreeFDT Japan and Waseda IONL will jointly host a webinar educating the local industry on the new FDT 3.0 IIoT standard. FDT is a software technology that standardizes the integration and management of field equipment across the boundaries of vendors and communication protocols, even in an environment where various networks, including process automation (PA) and factory automation (FA) exist.
Over the years, FDT has become the de facto integration standard deployed globally for effective asset management in the industrial automation industry. Now, with FDT 3.0, the standard has migrated to a data-centric IIoT platform and has become a key technology standardizing the integration of the Industrial IoT under the information and sophistication of the manufacturing industry.
This event is delivered by subject matter experts that will discuss the state of the industry by focusing on FDT’s involvement in digital communication for the process and factory automation markets. Attendees will gain a solid understanding of FDT, its’ components, and learn how it works, including the software toolkits (common components) necessary for building a system that utilizes FDT while using an actual machine demo. This event is an excellent educational opportunity for beginner to intermediate engineers.
The event will be held in Japanese.
