FDT Technology gains momentum in North America with recent road show stops in Wilmington and Calgary
The FDT Group is proud to announce that nearly 150 participants in total attended two recent road shows that took place in Wilmington, DE at The DuPont Country Club on April 29th and in Calgary, Alberta at The Telus Convention Centre on May 28th. FDT gains momentum in North America with their aggressive road show program discussing real business benefits of FDT Technology to the automation industry.
End User speakers highlighted each of these recent events. Dale Arnold from DuPont presented “Introduction to Fieldbus Technology” during the Wilmington seminar providing attendees with an understanding about fieldbus protocols and how FDT Technology fits in. Rong Gul, Shell Global Solutions International BV, was present in Calgary sharing the WIB Test Report findings on FDT/DTM or EDDL for Asset Management Using FOUNDATION Fieldbus Technology. Both seminars included FDT technical presentations and live demonstrations showcasing the technology across multiple protocols allowing attendees to see firsthand how the technology works. A panel discussion ended each day with attendee generated questions pertaining to testing and certification.
Industry professionals such as end users, system integrators, and engineering contractors interested in learning more about FDT Technology, its solution and benefits, should register to attend one of the upcoming seminars. These one day seminars provide an opportunity to learn the basics and become familiar with the technology, network, ask questions and listen to case study presentations from experienced end users. Each seminar is free to attend, lunch is served and PDH credit hours are awarded.
The seminar series is sponsored by leading automation companies including: Endress+Hauser, Flowserve, Honeywell, invensys, MACTek Corporation, Metso Automation, MTL, Pepperl+Fuchs, Rockwell Automation, Turck, VEGA, and Yokogawa.
