Denmark and Sweden next stop for the FDT Roadshow
Following the successful Roadshows in Milan and Barcelona last year which were attended by over 250 participants, the FDT Group organizes its 2008 European Roadshows in Nyborg, Denmark and Gothenburg, Sweden. The Danish Roadshow takes place at the Best Western Hotel Nyborg Strand on May 6 and the Swedish Roadshow in the Arken Hotel & Konferens on May 8.
FDT experts will present the benefits and explain the technical contents of the FDT Technology. Guest speakers from local end users will present their experience of real life applications that are installed and working in their plants. There will be a live demonstration of FDT’s interoperability involving many devices and frames of different vendors using different communication protocols (HART, PROFIBUS, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, and IO-Link). 17 FDT Group member companies ABB, Endress+Hauser, Invensys, MACTek, Metso Automation, MTL, Omron, PACTware, Pepperl+Fuchs, Phoenix Contact, Rockwell Automation, Sick, Trebing+Himstedt, Turck, Tyco, VEGA, and Yokogawa sponsor these events and will be present with table top demonstrations of their FDT based products. Representatives of the FDT Group Board of Directors and Executive Committee will also be available for questions and discussion.
These Roadshows are an excellent platform to learn more about the FDT Technology and gain familiarity with its applications and benefits. Participants are industrial professionals from end user companies, engineering contractors, and automation manufacturers. A rich program, already successfully implemented in several Roadshows worldwide, covers the major end users expectations.
