The FDT Group Board of Directors announces that Flavio Tolfo, the Managing Director of the group for the last three years will take his retirement as of July 1, 2009. After establishing the FDT Group in 2006 in the organizational structure we have, Flavio was a key contributor to establish the FDT Group into what it is today.

We thank Flavio for his outstanding contribution in the setting up and maturation of the FDT Group and wish him all the best for this new phase in his life.

The new managing Director will be Glenn Schulz.  Glenn has a broad experience in the automation business, working for technology driven companies for 15 years. Between 1995 and 2007, Glenn was working for Rockwell Automation. In this function, he served as Vice President in the FDT Group Executive Committee and fulfilled the function of Secretary of the Board for FDT Group from 2005 to 2007. Glenn was also actively involved in the establishment of the FDT Group as an international non-profit legal entity with the Belgium Crown. He authored the bylaws, anti-trust, and other key legal documents for review by the legal counsel. In this same period, he served as a public spokesperson for the organization. With that background of Glenn we are looking forward to develop the position of the FDT Group further on.

As of July 1, Glenn will be based in Landau in der Pfalz, Germany.  The FDT Group Head office and Business office will remain at the current address in Brussels. He is reachable at [email protected] and as of July 1st also at [email protected].

Additionally, the FDT Group is happy to announce that Sandra Wagner from ifak system GmbH in Magdeburg, Germany is the new press responsible of the FDT Group.
