FDT/DTM or EDDL for Asset Management using Foundation Fieldbus technology
The most commonly used technologies for integration of smart devices in automation systems are FDT/DTM and EDDL.
|
The International Instrument Users Association WIB decided to perform an evaluation of these technologies as applied in Foundation Fieldbus (FF) systems. They commissioned Shell Global Solutions International (SGSi) to do the comparison.
This test provides an objective assessment by an independent laboratory recognized for its competence and experience.
